Senior Year End Activities
Graduation Ceremony Details: Graduates
Arrival:
Graduates should arrive at 5:00pm and check in with their row proctor in the Charger Gym. Drop off graduates in the West parking lot for access to the pre-ceremony lineup location. A parking pass is required for access to the West Lot.
Attire:
Graduates should dress appropriately for the ceremony, including a dress, skirt, or pants/blouse for girls and a collared shirt, tie, and dress pants for boys. No flip flops please! Do not bring any bags or purses. Decorations are not allowed on the mortarboard cap.
Graduation Cords:
Qualifying seniors will receive their honor cords with their cap & gown at Senior Checkout:
- Top 1%, top 5%, top 10% - Gold Cord
- Math Honors Society - Light Blue and Gold Cord
- English Honors Society - Navy Blue and Orange Cord
- Delta Epsilon Phi (German) - Gold, Red, and Black Cord
- La Société Honoraire de Français (French) - Red, White, and Blue Cord
- Sociedad Honoraira Hispanicá (Spanish) - Red and Gold Cord
- NHS Members: NHS Stole
- Service Learning Award (100+ Service Hours) - Teal Cord
Diplomas:
During the presentation of the graduating class, students will receive their diploma cover. The actual diplomas will be distributed by row proctors after the ceremony. The location for diploma pickup will be announced at graduation practice.
Ceremony Details: Spectators
Monday, May 18, 2026, 6:00pm at the Stagg High School Stadium
- Rain Dates May 21 or May 22
Spectator Tickets:
- At graduation practice, six (6) color-coded graduation tickets will be distributed to each graduate.
- For an OUTDOOR CEREMONY, all six tickets provide admittance to the Stagg Stadium.
- In the event of an INDOOR CEREMONY:

Two (2) tickets provide admittance to an indoor ceremony

The remaining four (4) tickets will not be valid

Parking:
- One (1) parking pass per graduate will be issued at the graduation practice with the ceremony tickets and provides parking on campus at Stagg High School and Sacred Heart Church.
- Additional parking is available at New Beginnings Church and Moraine Valley Community College. No pass is required at these locations.
- A shuttle service is available to an from MVCC Lot T-1 and T-2 starting at 4:45pm, with the last shuttle returning to MVCC at approximately 8:30pm.
Please make accommodations for guests needing transportation assistance. There is limited handicap parking available on the South Drive behind the school. A state-issued handicap placard is required to utilize the parking spaces on the South Drive.
Pictures:
- Grad Images will take a picture of every graduate as he/she receives his/her diploma
- Questions regarding these professional graduation photographs can be addressed to GradImages Customer Service at 1-800-261-2576 or visit the GradImages website.
- Parents and guests of graduates will not be allowed on the stage or on the turf to take pictures during the ceremony.
Live Video Streaming:
The graduation ceremony will be available live for viewing via YouTube. A link will be available on the Stagg website on May 18.
Flowers:
Families can purchase flowers at the entrance to the graduation ceremony for their graduates. Pre-orders your flowers on the Commencement Group website.
